On Wednesday, 24th March 2010 a fantastic gaggle of people put on their welly and walking boots, rolled up their sleeves, and donned marigolds to take part in one of our quarterly clean up sessions on Mawgan Porth beach.
Staff from Bedruthan Steps Hotel and The Scarlet were joined by a great crowd from The Park as well as holiday makers and local residents Jo and John Zimmer. Together we managed to collect over 100kgs of rubbish, including lots of small plastic pieces, crisp and chocolate wrappers, cotton bud stems, fishing line and rope, shoes, a catheter and 1 complete wheel.
We would like to extend our gratitude to; Alex, Kath, Julie, Claire, Phil, Mark, Carolyn, Tim, Anne-Sofie, Martin, Sian, Chris, Pav, Karon, Kirsteen, Mandy, Ben, Linda, Brian, Jo, John, Laura and Emma (as well as the rest of The Park gang and our furry four legged friends) for all of their efforts and smiles!
