Wedding Bells At The Scarlet

Wedding bells rang at The Scarlet in March when we proudly hosted our first civil marriage ceremony.
The service was conducted in the Retreat Lounge with its awe-inspiring view of the sea serving as a fitting backdrop.
The happy couple had hired the hotel for the weekend, so they and their guests were really able to make themselves at home with us. A play list of their favourite music rang out in every room.
The sun had come out for the occasion, so the couple and their guests were able to lunch on the terrace to the sound of the tide rushing up the beach.
The wedding party then took to the beach for a surf lesson and a game of rounders on the sand, followed by well-earned mugs of hot chocolate. Then they whiled away the afternoon with a warming hot tub.
The evening included some karaoke capering followed by a band and dancing.
It was a wonderful weekend; we thoroughly enjoyed hosting the wedding.

Fun on the beach with Jasper

We were very pleased to host Diana, from our wonderful PR Agency, and the ladies joining her for a press visit this weekend. Hope your stay was relaxing and enjoyable, we know Jasper, the hotel dog, loved having you there! He was spoilt rotten with walks on the beach and games of fetch.
